This, by any photographer's standards, was a dream commission. When NY ad agency Hudson Rouge asked where would I like to shoot the new Lincoln MKZ, I mentioned that Mallorca might be a good location and they agreed. So the car was flown out from Detroit, roads closed, clouds cleared from the sky and the late afternoon Mediterranean light did its thing.
Princess Yachts International asked if I was available for a week long shoot in the Mediterranean.... Of course I was available!!!
I was so excited to be awarded this shoot as I have a love for commercial vans. Yes, A little odd I know but a van is essentially a car and workshop combined as one! What more could a man want?
Shot in and around London on real work sites and industrial locations. Thanks adam&eveDDB it was so much fun!
This shoot was done in some of the UK's worst weather, it was wet, very windy and icy cold. Not that you would know, looking at the images! Locations were all in central London.
This little video was made from still images. Cleverly developed by the guys at FCB Inferno London.
It's been 40 years since BMW made the first 3 Series car and to celebrate this occasion London ad agency, FCB Inferno commissioned me to shoot the 6 major 3 Series models since 1975, including the very latest 2015 model.
Each car was carefully shot to represent the angle, lighting and colour palette of that era.
There was 2 days of pre-production, 4 shoot days, and around 2 weeks of post production involved.
The high profile campaign dominated outdoor sites across the UK including the entire Oxford Circus tube station (Bakerloo Line), Waterloo station, the 6 sites on Cromwell Road as well as around 150 other outdoor sites. It also appeared extensively in main stream press.
